As of Tuesday morning about 25% of you have joined the Facebook group and twitter, thanks for jumping in so quickly. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's practical applications.
If you have also set up a gmail account, you'll notice there is a "chat" feature. Please send me a chat request at stevesynergy@gmail.com ... this will help me show you a very flexible feature in google reader tomorrow when we're setting up your Personal Magazine Page.
Again, as I related in both classes, once the application and class is over, you are welcome to delete or disconnect any of these connections we created for the class. I'm all about connecting online, but I'm also all about connecting with those you choose to connect with.
If you are just dying to figure out this twitter thing a terrific tool is http://search.twitter.com where you can key in any search term, or username, or topic and see what is being said about that term "live." Try "valpou" for one, that would show you everytime this profile we set up is being discussed, replied, or commented. Try "#northwestindiana" the pound sign is on purpose because quite a few of us use it to dial in a twitter community here in the region.
